Helleborus x hybridus
A singularly beautiful, white with red heart hellebore, bred by Elizabeth Strangman.

Uvularia grandiflora
Also known as bellwort, Uvularia grandiflora bears clusters of lovely, nodding, bell-shaped flowers in spring.

Rose at Sunrise
A beautiful pink rose - 'Cécile Brünner' - captured in full flower soon after sunrise, glowing in the early morning light. The air was fresh, light and so fragrant; it was heavenly and a delight to be up that early!

Poppy – Papaver commutatum ‘Ladybird’
Sauntering round the garden, camera in hand, all the poppies were glowing but this one caught my eye in particular; a perfect red poppy iridescent in the morning sun.

Touch Down
A lovely painted lady butterfly just alighted on Verbena bonariensis for a sip of nectar. Butterflies love this verbena and at times can dance around it in clouds!

A beautiful low-growing wood anemone, 'Robinsoniana' produces delicate flowers of lavender-blue with quivering golden stamens at their centre.
