Bluebells Under Chestnut Coppice
Bluebells Under Chestnut Coppice
There is nothing like an English bluebell wood in spring. Swathes of beautiful purple-blue flowers, their scent gently perfuming the air under unfurling spring leaves of overhead trees. The edge of a coppiced chestnut woodland very early in the morning, before the world had properly woken up, was an incredibly peaceful place to be.
