I’ve always loved the countryside and hankered for a rural life. Dad was in the RAF and life on the move could be fun but holidays spent with my grandparents in rural Wiltshire were special.
After graduating, with a Rural Environment Studies degree, I worked as a gardener and designer. And I took photos; developing my eye, my craft, my art and my passion.
Now living in rural Sussex with my husband and two boys, I am thoroughly grounded in this wonderful place. It is this love and sense of place that my photographs express – conveying the timelessness of the landscape, as well as ephemeral moments of light, movement and mood caught by the camera and gone in the wink of an eye, or the click of a shutter!
The great outdoors is my studio and I try to get out as much as I can, either visiting gardens or walking. Early mornings, especially in the summer are magical, and I love the transformative effect of stormy weather, although I don’t as yet chase storms!
My cards are professionally printed using FSC® (Forest Stewardship Council) paper (logo on the back) they’re supplied with a white envelope and sealed in a recyclable cellophane wrapper
